The Michelin Series collaboration with Chef Karim Khouani

Karim Khouani grew up in the sun-soaked city of Marseille,

where early memories in his grandmother’s kitchen sparked a lifelong love of food. At Texture, his cooking is rooted in the French tradition — guided by the seasons, shaped by classic ingredients, and reimagined through a Nordic lens.

Karim’s career has taken him through top kitchens in France and England,

including under Marco Pierre White, before love brought him to Sweden. In Malm?, he opened Restaurant Ambience, earning a Michelin star in 2015, followed by Restaurant Sture, which received its star just three months after opening.

With over 30 years in the industry,

Karim now leads the team at Texture with quiet passion — coaching, guiding, and cultivating a creative and supportive kitchen culture.
